  1. Why always use the the the biggest , the largest ???? So annoying and does not mean anything in terms of quality , efficacy or

  2. Wow, riding with two Canadian All-stars! I think I heard Geoff Marshall's name mentioned as well. Nice video.

  4. They're still missing a frequent GO bus network, especially routes which are repeatedly bring neglected for more service beyond its current forms (12 always hourly and 56 (former 46) still no weekend service).
Go has alot to do as, to me they're still focusing on weekday office commuters (right Kitchener line)?

    Anyways, great video!

  5. Nice collaboration guys. At the end I was surprised that the Cab car actually looks more like an engine than a typical car.

  6. If you want to see more transit videos in Toronto and occasionally, Vancouver and Montreal, check out Transmania Ontario.

  7. every 30 minutes during peak hours is impressive?

the place i live (with like 60k people) gets that off peak. its 8 trains an hour at minimum. and that with it being on a quieter part of the route. few cities over and you have easily double that.

  8. An interesting moment: at 10:44 we see the TTC subway's yard and the T1 series car on the sidings. Guys, it's a great trio. Thanks for the review. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

  9. Thank you for using the Rouge Hill Bridge for the thumbnail! I live somewhat near it and it's always been iconic to me.

  10. Such a shame the railway system still isn't electrified. Canada really needs to invest more into trains!

  11. 9:19 Reece points out the conductor making an announcement and wonders if that's an Irish guy. To me, it sounds like a Scottish accent!

  12. Hey! I saw you collaborated with DownieLive and was pretty surprised since actually you recommended his channel a while back. Very good review!

  13. Wow wow wow!! No way my fav transit enthusiast youtubers did a collab!! I couldn't stop smiling throughout this whole video! I love downielive AND simply railway!!😊😊😊😊😊

  14. I find Downie a bit too much and never watch his videos. The guy is just too tedious. Sorry, but you don't need Downie.

  15. How many North American commuter lines run GO Transit style multilevels vs other types of bilevel cars such as gallery cars? Item, only Chicago, San Francisco and Nashville run gallery cars. San Francisco is being rebuilt to take electric MU cars, ending most if not all diesel operations.
The separate line to Oshawa was first meant to be for an automated line that would have replaced the Lakeshore line in the 1980s. It ended up being an extension of GO train service.
Per electrification, Montreal had Canada's only electrified commuter line to Deux Montagnes, but it was shut down for conversion to automated rapid transit which still has not carried one rider.

  16. Watching your channel has inspired me to use the train this coming December. My wife and I are cruising from and back to NYC. We are going to go to and from NYC via Amtrack in Syracuse, NY. The station, cruise dock and our hotel are all close and convenient. Thanks for the inspiration.

  17. I love videos like this one – everyone can share their knowledge on each other's channel…
These Bombardier cars look way different from the ones we have in Europe. They're also Bombardier (built in Bautzen, Germany) but a big difference in size and design.
