Blooming Japan – Stroll Amongst Cherry Blossoms at Nachi Falls・4K HDR

During my trip to Wakayama, I made sure to visit Nachikatsuura city specifically for its stunning Nachi Falls. Upon arriving at the city’s bus stop, I immediately set off on my journey. I began by making the climb to the top of Kumano-Nachi Taisha shrine building, where I was met with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. After taking some time to admire the scenery, I continued on my journey, exploring the various old shrine buildings and taking in the beauty of the blooming sakura.
As I drew closer to Nachi Falls, my excitement began to grow. I made sure to get as close as possible to the falls, taking in the power and majesty of the rushing water. It was truly a sight to behold. And as if the falls weren’t enough, the journey back down was just as stunning. I made my way down the Daimon-zaka slope, which was surrounded by an ancient forest filled with towering trees. It was a peaceful and serene experience that left me feeling truly awestruck.
No cats were found 😿

    My wife and I visited Nachi Falls when we toured Kii Peninsular. What a beautiful area. Our favourite places were Koyasan with all the temples and the onsen town of Ryujin set in a beautiful valley amongst the mountains. We bathed naked overlooking a cold river rashing through the valley. Magic. In Koyasan we stayed at the Kodai-in Temple and were the only foreigners to have stayed there, in fact at the time of our stay we were the only guests so the monk gave us three adjoining tatami rooms, what luxury! I hope one day you can do a walking tour of Koyasan.
