Mormon bibles in swiss hotels? A false religious sect has gotten a foothold in swiss hotels. Most swiss deluxe hotels are not in the same range as Asian 4 & 5 star hotels. Tourists should not waste their money in Europe unless they are interested in museums. For food, convenience, comfort and shopping one should be in Asia.
It is an old building. So they may be constrained by local law about how much they can change the building itself. However I did see several areas that needed repairs. It did seem to give the impression of budget trying to be high class. If that was a suite I don’t understand the definition of the word. They did do a couple of special things just for you. The birthday message, Toberlone and the tray of Japanese amenities were thoughtful.
I think the design team that choose this colors must have been on a full night of free alcohol on a pub nearby.. Looked more like a hotel you find in the red light district in Amsterdam
But why travel all the way from Japan just to eat Japanese food? Som much good Swizz food to be eaten in Switzerland
Wwww new channel name Anna. I like it. I was supposed to visit Lucerne in September 2020 but covid scuppered those plans and I've yet to re-arrange my trip. Maybe next year hopefully. I agree with you that the hotel is just okay. Not a fan of the room design especially the ceiling and as for those red lights….it makes it look like a place for workers of the night if you know what I mean!!! No, it's not for me at all. I also realise many Japanese people really like to keep themselves really really warm in the winter with very thick clothing and turning on the heater to really really warm. I went to Aomori during winter and i find everywhere indoors has their heater is on full blast and every still has pretty thick clothes on while I only wore a t-shirt, it already felt very hot indoors to me 😅.
I think it would be interesting to do hotel reviews in Singapore. I believe they have many great hotels there 😊.

Люцерн- чудове місто, була там з ночівлею а квітні 2014 року. Якраз росія відібрала у нас Крим і почала війну на Дрнбасі.
Готель був на набережній з видом на гору Пілатус. Гуляли по місту часа 4, поки зовсім не стемніло.
А ваш номер, крім вікон,не сподобався. І мені було холодно

The room is really small for a suite… and the view is okay i guess. The breakfast also didn't have a lot of variety considering it's a buffet. It's quite… meh? for a hotel.
I would say the red light is to not ruin your night vision, but that room was /dark/ when those shades were down. I agree, the red and décor were not to my tastes either. The breakfast was also lacking. When you see better a better breakfast layout in a airport lounge… yikes. Plus it looked like you were the only person there besides staff.
So how long does it take you to recover from jet lag going back and forth all the time?
