Hi Foodies, this episode marks the beginning of our Tokyo Food Adventure Series & we're starting it with Wei Loon's favourite ramen spot, Nakiryu! Hope you've eaten cause you're about to get REAL HUNGRY~ 😜
In the spirit of keeping us on our toes & improving our vlogs further, here are our thoughts on the technical aspect of this vlog:-
We faced quite a few restrictions while filming this episode, mainly due to the culture in Japan where people eat ramen quickly & in silence. Hence we had to film it relatively quickly & also speak a lot softer so as not to disturb the other patrons enjoying their ramen. This caused the quality of our voice recording in the ramen shops to be less than ideal 😳
The relatively noticeable music in Nakiryu also added a spanner in the works & despite our valiant efforts to suppress it there's still music in the back ground.
Other than that we felt we've done relatively well on close ups and footage, music seems to work rather decently with such a punchy bowl of ramen. We hope you'll enjoy this vlog!
In conclusion, we need better skill & experience when it comes to filming ramen-ya as the time is very, very limited & we can't talk too loudly. We will take note of this in our future series & work on improving it further 😉
