Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport boasts being the main hub for Delta Airlines. Due to the significant presence of this airline, particularly for domestic flights, one entire side of the domestic terminal is dedicated to Delta customers. This video is a walkthrough of checking in for a domestic Delta flight from Atlanta to Denver and getting to the gate.

Question all –
I have a flight arriving at ATL at 5:43 domestic then need to hoop on a connecting flight international at terminal F! Is 1 hour enough time to go from domestic terminal to the last terminal aka F (International) ?
I have a solo trip next week and was terrified I would get lost or my bags will get lost. This video helped calm my nerves a lot I didn't know that it was going to be this easy to navigate through the airport.
Thank you very much for this!!! I really needed this. This is my first flight which is in 2 days and I’m worried if I get lost but thank you so much.
My I am check in flight down to California very soon.
This will be my first time flying by myself, is their someone that is their to get me to the right flight if I would only have 10 min to get to my destination? That’s my only concern… from Atlanta…
I always do the checkpoint on the far left
Wow u got there in 11 minutes
I need to fly in Atlanta as a connection, and I decided to look it up after hearing how complicated it is. I am half blind and can't see too well unless I bring $1,100ish worth of corrective equipment (which I am not risking bringing on a trip) and watched this to see how simple/complex the journey would be. This video has inspired me to, for the first time ever, actually request that "assistance getting through the airport" they have for persons with low vision.
this video is so helpful! i'll be taking my first solo flight(carry-on only) with a 45 minute connection in atlanta and this makes me feel so much more comfortable with how to get around, thank you!!
thank you! second solo trip and never been to atlanta!
Good videos.I searched this airport for videos and came across your channel.I have a flight from Tampa to madrid in December. How is the transfer from domestic to international terminals ? How much time do I need to connect ? Thanks.Hope you can answer this.
I have a choice of 1.5 or 3.5 hours connecting times.
Flying from Omaha to Florida, but got a layover in Atlanta… flying Delta. Would you say most likely my flight from Atlanta to Florida will be in Concourse A since is dominated by Delta? It would help me a great deal to just find my gate. First time flying solo.
I had a layover in Atlanta last year. I had no idea how huge Atlanta airport would be. I literally arrived at 8:51 am and would be boarding at 9am. Getting off the first plane and trying to find my way around to get from one concourse to the next was soooo scary. I still don't know how I managed but I did. Running though the area to find the escalator then the train was scary but I did it. Got there just in time to board too. The airport staff was great too! Thanks for uploading this excellent video!
I’m flying alone tomorrow for my first time! This calmed me down sooo much. Reading the comments is cool too. I’m glad I’m not the only nervous one☺️
I’m traveling soon and I have no idea wich is my Gate 😂
Thanks so much for sharing this information. My husband and I have not flown in years and our biggest fear was not knowing how to navigate around the ATL airport. But ,Thanks to you we feel at ease now.
its a Boeing 737-900 not 727-900 a 727 is a whole different plane.
also funny spelling mistake lol 🤣
Very helpful! It's been four years and that was my first flight and I was with more experienced people.
I went delta too
Taking my first flight tomorrow and I have to go alone. This has helped calm my nerves. Thank you!
Thank You, this is a great video and has helped me ALLOT 😁😊
What about when u fly back to Atlanta
Cool!)
IMO those long escalators are boring as hell, NTM a little scary

Y'all see this?
This how you put your tags not the crumpled mess I see 7 out of 10 times
Thanks for making the video!
Super anxious for my first flight this Thurs.
I miss the Darth Vader voice they had for many years on the Train
On your way to the main check point for TSA you passed 1st class priority is that the TSA for First Class? my friend bought me a first class ticket to come see her and this is my first time flying so I'm trying to figure out as much before hand.
Loved this video! also loved the soundtrack… I will be heading to the ATL airport in two weeks connecting to Costa Rica. Have never been to Georgia before much less Hartsfield-Jackson. Thanks for the walk through so i may get my bearings.
I remember watching your videos for the first time back in 2020 I was going on a trip and have never flown before ,I went to the airport by myself and I did amazing all because of you.. it was surreal your video helped me navigate through hartsfield like a pro ..I flew 3 times since then and I’m not gonna lie I actually miss the airport it’s a good feeling being able to fly ..knowing that you’re going on some type of vacation ! Thanks again !
Are ya sure at 12:45 a 727-900? The retired tri-engine w/rear fold-down exit staircase! Hmmmm…..
such a nice concourse, unlike E and D
One time in august I was headed to Philadelphia from Atlanta and the plane train was so crowded we had to walk. From T Gates all the way to E gates..longest walk I’d take in a lifetime 😭
thank you for this video! flying alone next week and i’m sooo nervous. i have a layover in atl (only an hour) and was scared i’d miss my gate because of how big the airport is, but this video and researching the map helps! it’s very calming to know that all delta flights are in the same area so i just have to get off my plane from ny and find the gate i have to go to 🙂
Does anyone know what terminal this is?
Great video and I feel so much less anxious now! Thank you!
Great video, but the plane is not a 727-900, but a 737-900
This looks like one heck of a journey. I'm so nervous just about navigating through the airport .
My first flight to Atlanta then to Denver by myself coming up😴 hope all goes well
Really dumb question how do you know your gate # of it’s not on your bordering pass 😅 I’m so confused
I just noticed I was in the same airport that day
Calmed my nerves a lot! Thank you.
Thankyou sincerely
Un aéroport immense et moderne
I have never flown by myself and even at 21 and tens of flights it gave me terrible anxiety. after watching this I feel like I can do it !
