This time, we visited Honmoku Sancho Park located in Naka-ku, Yokohama City.
The “Yokohama-hizakura” are in full bloom now.
The “Yokohama-hizakura” is the only cherry tree named after Yokohama, and its large scarlet-red flowers bloom before the leaves come out. There are three types of blooms: early, mid, and late. The early blooms begin in late March.

There are several famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Yokohama, but the “Yokohama-hizakura” in the Honmoku Sancho Park is a sight to behold.
“Someiyoshino” will also be at their best in the future, so please visit Honmoku Sancho Park.

Access to this park is a 25-minute walk from Yamate Station on the JR Line. Recommended use is by bus; city buses are available from “Negishi”, “Yamate”, and “Sakuragicho” stations on the JR line.
