I took the Uwajima Unyu Ferry “Akatsuki-Maru” from Yawataham to Beppu.
Traveling from Matsuyama to Oita by train is quite detour, so lots of people travel by ferry.
The scenery of Hoyo Strait and Bungo Channel is so beautiful.
I highly recommend traveling by ferry between Shikoku and Kyushu.
