Take a walk in Mimurotoji Temple, Kyoto

The nearest station is Mimurodo Station on the Keihan Uji Line.
It is located at the foot of Mt. Myojo about a 15-minute walk east from the station.

Mimurotoji Temple dates back to the Nara period.
It is said to have been built by the imperial request of Emperor Konin, and has been revered by the imperial family and aristocrats.
After repeated ups and downs, the current main hall was rebuilt in 1814.
Together with the Amida-do hall, the bell tower, and the three-storied pagoda, it is designated as a cultural property by Kyoto Prefecture.

His weeping plum garden was opened on the west side of the precincts.
There are 3 kinds of weeping plums, red, pink, and white, and there are about 250 of them.
Enjoy the exhilarating scenery of red and white weeping plum trees.
Many parts of the park are steep slopes.
Also, because it is on a hill
You can look down on the cityscape of Uji City over the plum blossoms
