New York City 4K – Brooklyn Skyscraper Drive



Friday morning drive around downtown Brooklyn. Video starts in Manhattan along FDR drive, continues across the Brooklyn Bridge, and continues to the dense downtown area of Brooklyn.
Today, if each borough were ranked as a city, Brooklyn would rank as the third-most populous in the U.S., after Los Angeles and Chicago. Brooklyn is a borough of New York City. It is New York City’s most populous borough, with an estimated 2,504,700 residents in 2010. 

In the first decades of the 21st century, Brooklyn has experienced a renaissance as an avant garde destination for hipsters, with concomitant gentrification, dramatic house price increases, and a decrease in housing affordability. Since the 2010s, Brooklyn has evolved into a thriving hub of entrepreneurship and high technology startup firms, and of postmodern art and design.

Many Brooklyn neighborhoods are ethnic enclaves. Brooklyn’s official motto, displayed on the Borough seal and flag, is Eendraght Maeckt Maght, which translates from early modern Dutch as “Unity makes strength”.

    Wherever going the big citys, they have a traffic jam. It upsets & tires us
    The road is limited ,whereas Cars increases. therefore
    There are no solutions.
    Brooklyn ' skyline is low. Man' traffic is not much.
    skyscrapers are built not more than Manhattan. It's good. Thanks for your posting.

    I love my Brooklyn.. Born and raised. But like any real Newyorker i hate the place just as well. No place is a good and bad for you all at the same time. Still, i cant say that im loving this changed taking over my borough. Its not like we didnt know it was coming, But now to see it unfolding is unnerving. Brooklyn being invaded by the rich whites, and turning it into Manhattan. about the worst thing that could happen to Brooklyn. Last thing anyone needs is ANOTHER Manhattan. Thankfully theirs more than enough residential neighborhoods with historic homes to prevent (at least for now) an outright invasion. Im not fully against the newcomers. Their alota Brooklyn regions that needs that influx of business startups and regional transformation. But as a whole Brooklyn unlike Manhattan is about REAL neighborhoods. That breed Real individuals. Manhattan is much like hollywood.. plastic. All about the business and next to nothing about living. So i hope the future of Brooklyn will land on a nice balance. Brooklyn the furthest western county of Long Island. Kings County. One of George Washington's final battles in the civil war. The Battle of Brooklyn. Ironically most native Brooklynites and newyorkers dont even know these facts. Most people dont even realize Brooklyn is a part of long island. Or the fact that Brooklyn by population is the 6th largest city in the united states. Brooklyn.. its an institution.

    New York and the surrounding area is a place id love to visit, but probably wouldn't get the chance
    Least this way I get to see all the off tourist places thats not shown on mainstream media
