Welcome to the Italian Riviera! Also known as Liguria or the Ligurian Coast, this region of Italy stretches from France in the west to Tuscany in the east along the Mediterranean coast and is known for its idyllic fishing villages like Camogli, romantic resort towns like Portofino, and of course, delicious foods like pesto and focaccia – since they were created here! We had the pleasure of spending one full day exploring the beautiful coastline by bus, boat, and foot, and while one day is barely enough time to even scratch the surface of this incredible region, it was enough to let us know that we HAVE to come back!

We’re Matt & Nat, a part-time, non-remote travel couple based out of Nashville, TN.

During one of our trips, we came across the book “1,000 Places to See Before You Die” & were immediately drawn in by it & knew that it had to be a part of our adventures. So, in January 2023 we officially launched our “1,000 Places To See Before You Die” series where we’ve set out to see as many of the “1,000 Places To See Before You Die”… before we die!
