Some of the most spectacular scenery in America is found in Oregon. Many many coastal cliffs and bluff, colorful towns steeped in history, waterfalls by the hundreds are located in the Pacific North West. From the iconic stacks that line the craggy coastline in this majestic state to some of the hidden waterfalls easily accessible by stunning hikes. Oregonians are very protective of their natural surrounding and these marvels emerge at every turn. Astoria, founded in 1811 is the oldest city in the state of Oregon and was the first American settlement west of the Rocky Mountains., stand sentinel over the mouth of the mighty Columbia River and the Pacific ocean creating one of the world’s most deadly waterways and graveyard to many vessels. The Pacific North West is shrouded in rain, fog and mist for many many months of the year reveals its magic and majesty in the drier parts of the year. This landscape is both majestic and deadly. Join me for a relaxing tour of “My Secret Oregon”.

Beautiful. But maybe needs a shorter version.
Breathtaking. Beautifully filmed and scored.
Amazing congrats, I'm fall in love again, oregon.
A very interesting thing happened which I will take as a compliment rather than as the viewer likely intended. First of all – ALL OF MY DRONE SHOTS IN MY VIDEO HAVE NO ORIGINAL SOUND – EVERYTHING IS ADDED IN POST PRODUCTION – know as sound design. A disgruntled viewer believed that I circled around seagulls in the film thereby disturbing them and as a result said that she stopped watching the video. In reality there were no seagulls in my film that I can recall, but I certainly used licensed sound effects of bird sounds, which included seagulls, in some of the sequences (sequence – the old cannery on the Columbia River). I suppose it must have been really effective and she believed that I was indeed circling birds and therefore harming them. No animals or birds have been harmed in the making of this video.
Spectacular!!!
Beautiful scenery. Great work.
Breathtaking…
Not much of a secret now if you put a video up. What we need is another 100,000 visitors on our tiny single lane coastal highway all summer long.
Nothing in eastern Oregon on here, in my experience out there are the places that are REALLY your own secret, not just hidden from social media. I have 2 amazing camping spots, and an entire lake out there that we have to ourselves every single time we go out there.
What drone are you using?
Our state is aww inspiring 😍 thankyou for the upload
I loved this video. Thank you for listing the places. Many I have seen and the rest I look forward to exploring.
Great photography! It will forever remain a mystery because you didn’t name any of the places! i.e. the tower at the coast?
Big Sur gets a lot of press… now it's a mess. Keep this place pristine folks
Grew up in the Astoria Knappa area, knew every spot you filmed.
Mighty Oregon. Beautiful state.
The coast is not the beauty like east of Roseburg ..
Oregon is full. Please leave your number and we will contact you when there's an opening!
Not if I have anything to do with it
Beautiful video
Beautiful ~ Thanks for sharing!
The coast is no secret, nor are all the spots along it. There's no way folks are not going to explore it just becuz some folks want to jealously guard it. Relax. They're not going to pounce on it all at once. It's all there for all to enjoy.
This is stunning!!
You can't see at least 50% of the views if you go there, it was the "bird view" from the drone. Stunning!!😲😲😲
The secret place in Oregon is Portland.
I have been to most of those places. Apparently there are still a few I need to visit. Thanks!
There are no secrets just epic beauty. Be kind to MY state!! …do as much sightseeing as you can from your device. This is a good start. Kinda like the people that drove 200 miles to climb a cliff to say they have been somewhere. Dumb
