We recently took a bus from Bangkok to Chiang Mai so we could travel all over the north of Thailand. One thing that was high on our list was to finally visit the famous hippie backpacker town of Pai! Once we arrived in Pai we kept hearing about ‘Tipsy Tubing’ and how it was the thing to do. At first we weren’t sure if we wanted to do tipsy tubing in Pai or not, but we heard enough good things about it to sign up.

We used the company Pai Authentic Travel which is the best company for Tipsy Tubing if you want this crazy experience with hundreds of other backpackers floating down the river! It’s 250 baht per person and happens every Tuesday and Friday!

We met them at the office on the walking street at the designated time and went through the building to the trucks that drive you to the river. It was about a 15-20 minute drive, plus a stop to buy drinks on the way. Once we got in the water it was great because they held up all the people until everyone was ready so the whole group started at the same time! They also had tons of amazing employees helping when anyone got stuck or needed a push (thanks guys 🤗)

Overall Tipsy Tubing in Pai was an amazing experience that we would definitely do again!!! Don’t miss this is you’re in Pai, Chiang Mai, or anywhere in Northern Thailand!!!
