TamaGringo…
Hi Heidi and Adam! I'm a few days late to the "Costa Rica party" but catching up now with my mid afternoon cup of tea! Thank you for sharing this great video. I know very little about Costa Rica, so this is definitely an education! There definitely is a different feeling that comes across compared to your other videos in Mexico and Guatemala and I am looking forward to seeing the rest of your journey! Cheers and safe travels! Lisa from Winnipeg
Gracias, chicos. Siempre me dejan una sonrisa en el rostro. Abrazos desde CDMX. Stay save! 😉
Hermoso y amigable pais !!!
Saludos country collectors
Costa Rica is a hard pass for me. It’s crazy expensive! In my experience, it is more expensive than prices here in the US. Didn’t enjoy it. Plus, it’s crawling with Americans.😳
Love Tamarindo, lived there for several years a decade or so ago, but if there’s anywhere where there out to rip you off in all possible little ways it’s that place…
Hi Guys
Always best to pay in Colones and let bank do the conversion. The restaurants will give you what ever exchange rate they feel like charging. Unfortunately the US dollar has been down lately in value. Banco National and BCR bank will always give you most accurate exchange rate for the day when withdrawing colones.

Beautiful place and Nice vlog friend👍✅have a nice day🌟💫
Once again, thank you for sharing. I have followed you two through Mexico and have loved it. Have you, Adam and Heidi toured the Caribbean Islands? Just curious. Enjoy you two!
I have been to Panama about 7 times and loved it. Just around the corners. That's why I go back. The weather is always so nice. I do really want to head to Costa Rica. How long are you staying down there? As always lots of great tips and info.
So jealous I missed out on this during my trip. It's definitely a give and take staying in hostels compared to Airbnbs. Biggest plus though is meeting the people for sure. Man Tamarindo looks awesome. Smoothies, croissants mmm. Yeah, it was interesting to see the price difference between Mexico and Costa Rica. The first time I was in CR I didn't really pay for anything because of my friends. This time I was paying for more and coming from Mexico I was like, "oh WOW, for a Latin America Country this place is expensive." The beach looks fantastic! Oh a fire dancing show, that'd be fun while having a drink. Adam, in school were you a safety/hall monitor? 😂 Loving that boat tour. Costa Rica has such amazing nature. That country is so proud and so protective of it's land and the nature around it. OMG that ice cream sandwich. Nice "jump" cut…🤨😁. What a fun video guys.
Nice drone shots
Thanks for the video. My, oh, my has Tamarindo changed since I was here in 1988. One two story hotel, one beach shack called Tercer Mundo. Beer only. No airport except in SJ. Long bus ride to the water. Loved the warm water at about 80 degrees. That was in July. You could say it was primitive in 1988 compared to today's northern Costa Rica. Change happens and you showed it. I hope the National Parks are still pristine. Safe travels.
What a place!! Love watching your trips. Just got back from bucerias, Mexico we loved it there❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Breaking Bread ..delicious. That croissant looks amazing & the smoothies!! There goes the budget!! $9.00 for peanut butter??? Wow!! Love the market!! Nice hat!! Beautiful beach. Love all the turtles! Read a great story about them & their nesting !! banana bread ice cream sandwich… wow!! What a great day !!❤
❤❤❤, miss u guyz….🇵🇭🇺🇸
I recommend the restaurant of Hotel Cantarana I belueve is Beach exit 28 or 29 in PLAYA grande. Also the Cantarana hotel is amazing if you want peace and quiet.
Great hostel comment: as an older traveler I love staying in hostels – for meeting people and feeling more connected.
Great episode of The Country Collectors! So much information! Fort in the bush, poop in the bag! So much fantastic footage! The nature shots are always so great… the sunset and boat trip – WOW! I also enjoyed all the quick shots of the local establishments – gives you a feeling of being there.
Nice video,, but the airport town is pronounced Li-beria, like Li-(ttle), not LIE. ;o)
We loved Playa Grande. It is our favorite spot in Costa Rica. We loved how quiet it was yet still just a $2 boat ride to the action of Tamarindo.
I'll be back in Tamarindo in 3 weeks for my 14th time… this video helped me with my withdrawal till then. Thank you so much for making this, all those spots you went to, I've been so many times before but it never gets old! Pura Vida and Saluda!
Very beautiful place. @6:52 the dude was hyped 🙂 . I really love your travels. Very detailed and the capture looks really nice. Playa Grande beach looks superb, long stretch of seaside. Amazing experience.
Wow Tamarindo has changed a lot in the 10 years since we were there.we waded the River to Playa Grande Before we heard about the Crocodiles. Thankfully the taxi flagged us down before our return crossing. PG beach was the first place I saw live sand dollars! So cool. Pure Vida!
I really enjoyed watching your Tamarindo travel vlog! Your exploration of the town, Playa Tamarindo, Playa Grande, and Playa Langosta was informative and visually stunning. I appreciate that you covered everything from where to eat in Tamarindo to the Tamarindo Nightlife, making it a comprehensive guide for anyone looking to visit this area in Costa Rica. The Jungle Boat Tour through the Tamarindo Mangrove Estuary looked like a unique experience, and I'm now considering adding it to my bucket list. I also appreciate your perspective on Tamarindo being a "touristy" destination, but still offering something for everyone. Thank you for sharing your travel experience with us!
