Shirakawago winter village + the best onsen ryokan in Takayama

This January we spent a whole week exploring Takayama.

This is part two where we take a day trip to Shirakawago village, share the best Takayama restaurant to try the famous Hida beef, and stay at Hidatei Hanaougi, the most luxurious onsen ryokan in Takayama (ryokan = Japanese traditional inn)! 🌿
