Tokyo, Tokyo. Always full of surprises as well as old classics. We love that you guys get excited about things like hedgehogs and lobster rolls; it gets us excited too! Nowhere else in the world is like you and we had just so much fun. Keep watching as we explore more of what Tokyo has to offer!
– Luke’s Lobsters –

There’s a few outlets, but we went to the one in Harajuku!
150-0001 Tōkyō-to, Shibuya-ku, Jingūmae, 6 Chome−6−7−1
Luke’s Lobster rolls have developed a bit of cult following. We didn’t really know this but joined in line because there were other people around and it looked pretty legit. Little did we know it was going to be so delicious. It’s famous in the US, but Japan is the only place outside the US to get them!
We had:
Lobster Roll (from ¥980): Crazily crispy AND soft buttery bread PACKED full of delicious lobster. They toast the buns perfectly and you can taste the butter. Great snack that we found in the back streets of Harajuku
– Harry Hedgehog & Bunny Cafe –

6-7-2 Roppongi, Iwahori Bldg 2F, Minato
We saw these hedgehogs all over Facebook and knew we had to go. When we got there, there was a long line for the Hedgehog cafe but the assistants said we could go to the next level that had hedgehogs AND bunnies. It looks like you’re lining up for bunnies only, but they have hedgehogs too so go there and you won’t have to wait so long!
It costs ¥1000-¥1300 for 30 minutes depending on whether you go on a weekday or weekend, the bunnies are the softest things in the world but the hedgehogs CAN be a bit spikey! We had some kids next to us that definitely squirmed a little touching them. You pay extra to buy them a little bit of food, but don’t expect to eat any food or drink yourself because it’s not a “cafe” in that sense.
We don’t know anywhere else in the world you can do something like this, so don’t miss out!
– Han No Daidokoro –
✪✪✪✪
$$-$$$
OK SO… There are a few restaurants with the same name in Shibuya… We’re not sure if they’re owned by the same people but we went twice and the second time (not featured in the video) was more like a Korean BBQ and was more expensive. This one featured in the video was much more “Japanese” and authentic. It’s AROUND THE CORNER from where you will see “Han No Daidokoro” on google maps and it’s on the street level not upstairs.
Basically you go down the side street and the address is 150-0043 Tōkyō-to, Shibuya-ku, Dōgenzaka, 2 Chome−29−13. It’s opposite to the 7/11 located at 2 Chome-25-15 Dōgenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tōkyō-to 150-0043, Japan. Google Maps hasn’t quite updated it yet so hope this works.
We got an array of different meats but the best was the “SPECIAL OX TONGUE” – thick cut ox tongue that we ended up getting a few plates of, and the “KOBE – Sukiyaki Style” which basically means they are cooked for SECONDS on the grill and you dip it into raw egg with a sukiyaki sauce. The waiter cooks it for you because it’s so delicate and if we did it ourselves we’d probably ruin the Kobe.
Service here is 5 STARS; incredibly friendly and English speakers too!
– The Whales of August –

It’s in the centre of Shibuya at 〒150-0042 Tokyo, 渋谷区Udagawacho, 28−13
A movie themed bar, it can get pretty crowded but is an extremely fun experience. You order based on a movie and the cocktails are their interpretation of the movie.
For example, some things we got were The Last Samurai which was a sake cocktail (makes sense) and the Die Hard was pretty much straight vodka. The Inception was a “drink within a drink” mixing beer and Sambuca which tasted questionable but great concept!!!
You can pretty much name ALMOST ANY MOVIE and they will have a drink for it – just because it’s not on the menu doesn’t mean they can’t do it as they have a back catalogue of many many drinks!!! So get creative and see whether you can get one!
We’ve got so much more coming so stay tuned!
Hope you enjoy watching these!!!
Love,
Uel & Shannelle
