We visited “Boso-no-Mura,” where you can feel like you’ve traveled back in time to old Japan and experience traditional Japanese lifestyle and techniques. This museum exhibits archaeological artifacts excavated from various parts of the prefecture, as well as displays of samurai, merchant, and farmer lifestyles, allowing visitors to learn about Japanese history firsthand. It is recommended for tourists from overseas as well.
今回は、千葉県にある体験博物館千葉県立房総のむらにいってきました。房総の伝統的な生活様式や技術を直接体験することができ、県内各地から出土した考古遺物や、武家・商家・農家などの展示を通して歴史を学ぶことができる博物館です。

入場すると江戸時代後期から明治初期の商家の街並みが広がっております。県内に残る佐原などの古い町並みを参考にしており、めし屋・そば屋などの飲食店から鍛冶屋までの16軒の店先のほか、旅館の外観を再現した総屋（総合案内所）の17軒の建物があります。他に古い町並みにはよく見られた、稲荷や地蔵、火の見やぐらなども再現してあります。
一件ずつ建物に入って展示物を見ることができるのも魅力です。

めし屋は実際に建物に入ってご飯を食べることができ、当時のメニューを味わうことができます。今回はかみなりうどんを食べました。豆腐やキクラゲが入っている素朴な味のうどんでした。季節ごとの展示や体験などもできるので、どなたでも楽しめる博物館だと思います。
入場料がとても安く、古き良き日本の雰囲気を味わえるので海外の方にもおすすめです！！
こちらはJIN-仁-や西郷どんなどの映画のロケ地にもなっております。
