Lichtenstein is a small land locked country between Austria and Switzerland. It’s also known as the princely state of Lichtenstein because they have an active prince as ruler, who lives in the castle above the capital of Vaduz.
This tiny country speaks German, and they use the Swiss Franc as a currency. The roads and city center of Vaduz are decorated with art pieces and one of the museums to visit is the art museum, which is free to visit on Wednesdays. The area looks mostly like West Austria or Switzerland. Most people that we met in Lichtenstein are Austrians working in Lichtenstein.
