  1. Those little jumpy spiders are in fact a part of the family called Jumping Spiders (Salticidae family), lol. They don't make webs, as they are active hunters. However you might see them with an egg sack in a corner on occasion. They are prolific all over the world, and are great to have around because that do help keep the insect population down. The overwhelming majority of them are harmless to humans, but some of them can be very harmful. The Brown Recluse in America is a part of the same family and they can cause serious issues, but most bites from them have mild symptoms.

  2. Found a huntsman the other day. Needed to change my underwear immediately after. I have an irrational fear of spiders 😀

  3. thank you for the creepy video, now I've got the heevy jeevies and I'm looking around and jumping when my cats fur brushes against me.

  4. I hope aussies don’t make a habit of bringing nightmare insects with them everywhere they go 😰

  5. You mentioned the dangerous ones…Do you just remove those too or are they humanely dispatched? Lol

  6. When I was in the mountains near Nagoya a few years ago there were tons of really big spiders, the size of my hand. Far too many.

  7. Some interesting facts:
    – daddy long-legs are not considered spiders, but are in the scorpion family
    – jumping spiders are really cute
