Welcome to my mountain lake walking tour and Switzerland travel vlog where I will take you to an epic place in Switzerland, the famous Oeschinensee. This mountain walking tour around this lake in Switzerland is definitely a fun thing to do when visiting Switzerland and it’s amongst best places to visit in Switzerland. If you like to go hiking in Switzerland and are planning you next vacation in Switzerland or are just wondering what do you go see in Switzerland, my travel walking tour around the lake will give you some ideas for a nice lake walk. It is one of the most epic places to see in Switzerland and this nice lake hike in Europe should be part of any Swiss Alps tour.

Oeschinensee is one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe and the nice lake walks make for some of the best hikes in Switzerland. So with this good hike around the lake you get another episode of my Switzerland travel diary on what to do in the Swiss Alps. If you are in Interlaken Switzerland, it’s just a short 30-minute drive away and you won’t regret your trip to Kandersteg and Oeschinensee. After a short gondola ride up the mountain, a nice 20-minute walk takes you to this stunning mountain lake which is framed by vertical cliffs on three sides. The lake’s turquoise color makes it quite a special viewing experience. A couple of nice restaurants and campfire sites invite for resting and barbecuing.

    Oh wow – I would say an excursion to Oeschinensee would have to be one of the best days out ever. Thanks so much for capturing its dramatic but peaceful setting so beautifully, from the sheer waterfalls to the lovely ducks. Of course the cows and their bells never get old :). I must say as an Australian it seems strange to see so much infrastructure in such a dramatic setting, Our alpine areas (yes, we do have some) are fairly remote. It would be lovely to get a coffee and a snack in such surroundings!

    Seeing Oeschinensee many good memories come back. This lake with the incredible color is indeed one of the most beautiful and visited lakes in Switzerland. The clouds give some magical feeling. I can feel the ground is vibrating when the cowbells are ringing! Thank you for this great video. Brilliant drone shots. I like your calming way of explaining. Your hike up doesn't look rushed.     Quite peaceful and no crowded, i love the water color. Iam imagining what looks like in winter? Snow everywhere? Is that possible to have some videos in snow when winter coming ? In the winter evening, a little warm yellow light from houses in the snow scenery, feels like in a fairy tale world. πŸ™‚
