Trying $1 vs $150 Sushi in Japan

Sushi is one of my favorite food, and since I’m finally in Japan for the first time in my life, I decided to try their most affordable sushi and (one of) the most expensive sushi just to compare.

The cheap sushi place was a franchise restaurant, and had sushi that are below $1 per piece. On the other hand, the expensive restaurant had a 20000 yen omakase, which is about $150 for a course meal with about a dozen sushi.
