Japan Travel VLOG | Winter in Hokkaido PT.1 ❄️ first time snowboarding in Niseko + cooking hotpot 🍲

I fell in love with Hokkaido.

This was supposed to be a peak season for tourists to visit and enjoy winter activities but because of the travel ban, the places which used to be so crowded now looked so private and calm. I was able to try snowboarding for the first time without worrying about crashing myself to another person. The queue for the lift wasn’t long and I could actually take my time on top of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Going to Hokkaido only used to be my dream until it finally came true. The place has a lot to offer; good nature, good food, and good people. It’s definitely a place worth coming back again and again.

When borders reopen, popular tourist sites should start to consider controlled tourism to avoid overcrowding. Let’s all stay safe!
