Jogashima island is located at the southern end of Kanagawa’s Miura Peninsula. It is the largest natural island in Kanagawa and has long been a tourist destination, going back as far as the Kamakura period (1192–1333).
Listed as a two-star destination in the revised third edition of Michelin Green Guide Japan, it has many scenic spots. The southern hiking course offers views of the majestic Pacific Ocean and an interesting shaped rock called the ‘Horseback Cave Mouth’, while on the western part of the island, you can see views of Mt. Fuji over Sagami Bay.
Jogashima also provides fresh seafood, guest houses, hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops.

ミシュラン・グリーンガイド・ジャポンの改訂第3版で2つ星を獲得し、多くの景勝地があります。南側のハイキングコースからは雄大な太平洋と奇岩「馬の背洞門」が望め、島の西側からは相模湾越しに富士山を望むことができます。
城ヶ島には、新鮮な海の幸や民宿、ホテル、レストラン、土産物店もあります。
