  1. I'm going in August. Just need to get rid of the vaccine requirements. It's just like the flu and you don't need a flu vaccine to enter.

  2. I went last October and want to go again this September. Will they still be using the mySOS app?

  3. This is wonderful news πŸ‘
But phizer and bill gates want another pandemic so bad!
Hopefully next time around I'm in Japan with a job so i can stay stuck in there lol πŸ˜†

I'm thinking about taking the ferry from busan to fukuoka to see the other gundam 😁

  5. 2 weeks till Tokyo! I was hoping it wasn't going to be, but I'm sure it's gonna be smashed for the sakura. Oh well, I do have a few days near Fuji-san at least.

  6. We're back!

Can we please start with masks. The science is settled, masks don't help for Covid, influenza, or any other upper respiratory infections.

I don't mind wearing a mask, and I understand I am a guest and should act as good as or better than Japanaese.

But seeing people wearing masks while driving, while riding bikes, and while walking with no one nearby is getting old.

Can we please get back to the way things were before covid?

I don't want to be a rude guest. But wearing masks at this point is useless.

I will continue to wear one here in Kyoto because people just don't seem to want to give them up.

Isn't it important for children's growth to be able to read facial expressions?

There are so many beautiful people in this country its a shame to have to cover everyone's face especially now doctors and research has come to the conclusion that Masks Don't Work.

  7. I’ll be in Japan in a week!! I’m taking so many notes from your videos πŸ₯° keep it up! ❀

  8. I heard they still do temperature checks at the entrance to some places. Is that still common or not so much?

  9. Going to Tokyo as a solo traveler in 3 days. Super excited! Your videos have been incredibly helpful

  10. Are they still strick with masks and want people wearing masks? I want to go with my family but my kids won't wear masks and I don't want to go and feel like I'm disrespecting the locals or them to think we're disrespecting for not wearing a mask.

    Thoughts?

  11. I'm having such a good time here it's just like the old days ☺️ thanks for the video Harb and Matilda πŸ€—

  12. October is my visit month. It actually would have been sooner, but the decision came from the following:

    1) In my country October has 3 government mandated holidays, I'm making use of those as to not affect my work PTO days, so I'll have 2 weeks to be in the country and return, still having around 2 business weeks left over to re-adjust from jet lag and sort through the experience.

    2) I researched a time when tourism is a bit more lax in Japan, and the month that came up most was October, which worked out perfectly with point 1.

Each day that passes is one day closer, and the hype is killing me.

    Cheers!

  13. Its incredible that Japan still fears Covid whilst the West is finding out it was "blown up" by the media to aid corruption (re: Canada, UK, USA, NZ, France…)

  14. I watched all your videos ! Although you recommended taking public transportation in your past videos, I just got my IDP so I can have the experience to drive in Japan πŸ™

  15. Finally got to go to Japan for the first time in November last year for three and half weeks. I was part of the first wave of international tourists to go after the borders had opened for FIT❀ Your videos were so helpful and really appreciated all the guidance and support you offered. now planning my next trip for June this year and spending my birthday out there.

  16. Finally subscribed after watching your videos on tv. We will be there 4/11-4/22. Staying in Shinjuku one week, then to Kyoto 3 days, on to Osaka for the last leg of our trip. Doing day trips that will include Mr. Fuji (from Shinjuku). So do we need both a Suica card and JR pass, or just one that will cover all transfers? Thanks!

  17. I also saw that tourists probably don’t have to do any tests or have to have a vaccine certificate anymore after may 8th. Am I right?

  18. 2:26 it says "please clap" though… Are you sure its not requesting them to clap instead of cheering? That would make a lot more sense since you dont clap with you lungs.
