used to be a chef, and i found i essentially got a really strong stomach i think from constant handling of raw food, i'd eaten, ray fish meat, offal and shellfish, id eaten old shellfish that was wastage otherwise, iv eaten plenty of dodgey street food abroad always fine maybe indigestion at worst. i went to america for holiday like a week and a bit and fuck i think i was pretty close to food poisoning. America just has shit quality food and catering standards aside from fancy places
I've traveled a lot and eaten street food from every place I've traveled, the only time I've ever gotten food poisoning was in the states at a health inspected restaurant lol
Now do Indian street food. My buddies father coworker ate Indaim street food when they were on a business trip, and his coworker ended up having to be hospitalized for 3 weeks because of the e.coli.
Tbh the food isn't usually the problem. Its the shitty river water or whatever they washed all the plates/cutlery/knives/anything not cooked in. Or the nasty cook who has an infected cut and no gloves.
The point here is in asia almost everywhere you go the they the ingredients they put it anything is fresh and not preserve to travel anywhere, low probability of food virus infection etc.
Just caught shigella stomach virus last month from street food In Guatemala. Shat diarrhea and blood for a week. Had to get on antibiotics to fight the infection it gave me. I beg to differ my guy.
It's not about weather you tolerate raw or cooked food , it what it touched it's where it prepared how and how long , and the pollution from the autos around it wheather on the street. If it catches the carbons and the microbs around it from polluted air.! Here's the problem ,you'd eat all that
I used to eat oysters yanked up from the bottom, right in the boat. They were water temperatures, with oyster bed mud on the shells, little crabs on the clumps, sea worms sliding between the shells. Delicious, never got ill. The worst food poisoning I had was from a Mc Donalds. And other resuraunts.
I have gotten worse diarrhea and stomach problems from food from fancy restaurants then I have food from street food. I love f**** street food you can't tell me it's bad for me or that it's going to make me sick cuz I've never gotten severely sick from street food except from overindulging and that was putting too much in my stomach and my stomach saying evacuate.

Sonny: I have eaten every street food!
Cumcumberu: Banzaiiiii!
An oyster right out of the water is much different than a warm oyster. A warm oyster is an experience I never want to have again.
Street food is the best kind of food to get when you’re at a different country, its genuine, authentic culture

The thing is our fairs food IS street food
We just see ourselves so much more "civilized" that we see it like 'oh this is an event. It's a food extravaganza'
It's street food

Some people just deserve to eat cereal and plain bread and butter for their whole life. 😄
Yeah, I've noticed a lot of Americans specifically won't eat street food as they say it's dirty but will munch down on a McDonalds or KFC
Disgusting. Every bit of it.
