Kagurazaka is a neighborhood located in Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, Japan, with a significant French presence. After World War II, the area was occupied by American and French soldiers, and a large number of French expatriates moved to Kagurazaka. As a result, many French restaurants, bakeries, and shops opened up in the area, giving it a distinct French flavor. Today, Kagurazaka is known for its fusion of French and Japanese culture, and many French expatriates continue to live and work in the area. Visitors can enjoy a variety of French-inspired cuisines, such as croissants, baguettes, and French pastries, as well as traditional Japanese dishes. Kagurazaka's unique blend of cultures and cuisines makes it a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike.
