Tired of lugging your luggage around busy train stations in Japan? Try Yamato Transport – it’s cheap, easy, and reliable.
👨🏻💻 Find a Yamato location and all you need is the destination address and phone number. There are Yamato desks at international and domestic arrival halls at Narita and Haneda airport and you can also ask your hotel front desk to ship the bags for you too.
📅 You luggage will typically take 1-2 days to arrive. So plan ahead!
💴 We paid $20 each to ship our snowboard bags to our Niseko hotel. Checked bags are about $15 each each way
✈️ When we were done with our snowboards, we shipped them to the Haneda airport where they held them for a week and we just picked them up before flying out of Japan
I recommend bringing a checked bag and a carry on. Pack what you need for 2-3 days in your carryon then ship your checked bag ahead of you so you don’t have to lug it through busy train stations. Trains don’t have a lot of space to accommodate large luggages.

Why are you aggressive with the comment. He’s just giving tips for the people that support him. If you don’t like it just look up budget travelers there’s more people out there than just him you know? Lol but thanks for the HACK!!! Japan 2023
If you send your bags to five places i.e., Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Niseko and back to Tokyo, that's about $200
Is there such a hack for Europe?! That'd be sweet
Very resealable
