In this photography vlog, I visit the best place in Japan to view the Autumn leaves, Kyoto.
Kyoto in Autumn is always a good idea, and in this video, I visit a few locations in a single day and see what I can create in my fave season of the year.

  1. Pat is really churning out the videos in Japan πŸ’―πŸ”₯

Can you motivate me now to post 😴

  2. Not gonna lie, pat. I started my photography journey by watching your videos a year ago, and I love how you edit your photos and videos. The music that you use is just perfect. It truly describes the journey from start to end.

  3. Hi Pat. It would be a help if you write the day of the recording. If you've just recorded it, I'm surprised that so many leaves are left. I was there midt November (finally my first trip to Japan) and it was beautiful. Thanks for always inspiring videos.

  4. These travel vlogs have been amazing! I wish you can do videos like this nore often, can't wait for the next one πŸ™‚

  5. Pat I really enjoy your videos because they're authentically you.

I've learnt a lot just by calmly listening.

Thank you for you and this highlights why you use YouTube as a platform. This kind of video wouldn't be possible on TT/IG.

  6. Bro – nice vlog! I was just there a few weeks back filming my Kyoto autumn vlog. Looks about the same time as when you hit it. It was wildly crowed though when I got there haha

  7. The serenity in every shot! I never would have imagined there's that much people coming in and out. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this video as always.

  8. Hi Pat, what camera did you use for this video? I saw that you use insta360 as well, how’s your experience on that? Thanks

  9. I've been planning a trip to Europe for travel for a while. I love to see with my own eyes the beauty of Switzerland. And following your journey on your channel, from Australia to Vietnam (my homeland), Japan, etc is such a great way to relax. I learnt a lot of lesson about Photography, too. So simple, so smooth, slow enough to see life and things around. And your photos are always the top of my favourite list. Keep working. Stay health. Thank you for your inspiration!

  10. Tip for next year's colours is Yoshimine-dera, just outside Kyoto. Gorgeous terraces that just build different layers, then the best panoramic view imaginable. Also, a bit less discovered by tourists, which might mean a lot by next year.

  11. Great frames. Forget the boring, overdone β€œone shots”. Your shot at 9:16 was a lovely intimate frame and probably not the one you expected!
