Thank you very much for the excellent information regarding traveling to Alaska. Extremely helpful
Wait so I think I missed it. What is your starting point? I guess I’m confused because I didn’t realize Dawsons Creek was several hours into Canada. I thought people started at the border and then went through Canada up to Alaska. So I guess it seems to me like it’s going to take a full day just to get to the start of the Alaskan highway to begin with.
thanks for sharing i will be travling the alaska hyw in may and im suoer excited for the adventure
Excellant video….many times over, some day, with the good Lord willing im gonna make that trip…be blessed and a new subscriber here from North Carolina,USA
Great tutorial on driving through Canada to Alaska. I've been planning for a couple of months now for our upcoming drive from Texas to Alaska and back later this year and I still picked up a couple of useful tips from your video that I hadn't considered. Very well done and I appreciate the work you did to put this all together. Thanks!!
Great info!
Great info but why is the thumbail Seward Highway?
I loved this video, would make a great trip. I was surprise to see all the A&W's, heck, there are none in FL. Thanks.
Incidentally that was a Yellow bellied Marmot in Williams lake. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow-bellied_marmot
This was a very informative and well done video. It brought back many memories of my five drives on the Alcan since 1969. My most recent trip was in 1986, when I moved back to California. I hope to make the driving trip once again. My wife and I have been back several times by plane, cruise ships, and the Alaska Marine Highway, but she would really enjoy experiencing the drive! We have subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing more from you! Monty (and Lois)
I have been looking for an informative video on this particular trek to Alaska from the border. Looks like the road is a bit rough. This is my dream trip someday soon. Thank you for an informative video. Take care and continued safe travels. Dave.
Well done Thanks for the trip
Hello. Thanks for the informative video! I will be doing this trip in July/August of this year and I will be coming from New Jersey. I want to visit Tuktoyaktuk and swim in the Arctic ocean. I also will visit many places on the way in the Northern West of the USA and Canada. Will be driving a Honda Accord equipped with solar and additional lighting when I drive at night.
This was an amazing video. I loved all the tips and how you pointed out the amenities in each town. And I do believe I cried a little when you showed the bison. Such beautiful creatures. And how the one looked back at you, just wow!! 🩵
