Shinkansen to Okayama | Japan train travel

We had such an amazing time in Hiroshima that even if that had been the end of our family holiday it would have been great. But we still had so many adventures to come! Because we had a few weeks left we made a stop in Okayama so we could spend the next day somewhere unique and magical. To make the journey super comfy, we booked ourselves a green car (think first class) seat for the short trip, hired a car when we arrived, and stayed in a really cute holiday house. And of course it turned out we wished we had even longer to explore, but… time… money… if only!
