Short video #1 of 3:
Join me on a hike to the peaks of Mt. Kinkan and Mt. Daruma located on the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture Japan. 今回は、静岡県沼津市にある金冠山と達磨山の風景写真撮影の為に行ってきました。
On this photo shoot, we go on an afternoon walk through snow and mud to shoot seascape and landscape scenery from atop two mountain peaks.
金冠山と達磨山からの風景は、戸田港、御浜岬、西伊豆スカイライン、熊笹、など金冠山〜達磨山付近を歩き撮影します。
Photos were shot on the full-frame DSLR Pentax K1-II with the Pentax D FA 28-105mm f3.5-5.6ed DC WR HD lens and the Fujifilm X100V (23mm) with a 5% diffusion filter.
Kinkanzan and Darumayama are two scenic mountains located on the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
Kinkanzan, also known as Mount Kinkan, is a small mountain located in the city of Numazu. It stands at a height of 816 meters and is known for the beautiful cherry blossoms in the spring near the trailhead. Visitors can climb to the top of the mountain to enjoy panoramic views of Numazu City and Suruga Bay.
Darumayama, also known as Mount Daruma, is also located in the city of Numazu. It stands at a height of 982 meters and is known for its winding trails among kuma bamboo grass. Visitors can climb to the top of the mountain to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape, Suruga Bay coastline, including Mount Fuji on a clear day.
Both Kinkanzan and Darumayama offer visitors a chance to experience the natural beauty of the Izu Peninsula and are popular destinations for hikers and nature lovers. The mountains are easily accessible by car and offer a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
