This matsuri yatai, (festival float) is in a cute little town in Kumamoto Prefecture. It’s right next to an ice cream shop (and the Chicken and Elvis from Part 1 in the series.

Kumamoto has waterfalls, suspension bridges, rice patties, and some of the coolest walking paths I found in Kyoto making it a true hidden gem.
