If your palate is looking to explore Tokyo Street Food, such as looking to try Daifuku Mochi, also known as strawberry daifuku, then this is one of the best places to be. Today, we are going to try an authentic Japanese Traditional Sweet; the Ichigo Daifuku (Strawberry Daifuku Mochi). It is a japanese street food dessert, and it consists of a juicy strawberry, sweet red bean paste, and an outer layer of a soft, chewy mochi. Ichigo Daifuku was first created during the 1980’s, and considered to be a true Japanese delicacy or a true Japanese dessert.

Ichigo Daifuku, also known as strawberry daifuku, is more popular as a japanese dessert during spring time, however, it also goes very well during winter. People are queuing or lining up; patiently waiting to get a taste of this authentic traditional Japanese sweet.

This store, Ginkado, is just on the street that leads to the gate of Senso-ji Temple. It is very easy to find, since it is being flocked by locals and tourists alike.
