Today’s episode talks about how to rent a car in Japan.
If you plan to rent a car in Japan during your trip, know that you probably won’t need one if you’re only travelling in the big cities. The traffic is usually heavy and there are loads of world class public transport to take advantage of! Save the car rental for when you want to explore deep, rural Japan.
To drive, you’ll need to be at least 18 years old and have an International Driving Permit. You’ll also need to find a reliable car rental company (thankfully there’s a ton of good ones to search from on google) and they’ll tell you more about how to rent a car in Japan.
