In this video, we are exploring the northernmost Japan. Every year in February, Sapporo Snow Festival (Sapporo Yuki Matsuri) is held in Hokkaido’s capital Sapporo. It is one of the most popular winter events in the world.
The Sapporo Snow Festival was started in 1950 and since then it has developed into a large event, featuring spectacular snow and ice sculptures and attracting many visitors from all around the world. In 2023, Sapporo Snow Festival is staged on the Odori Site and Susukino Site in Sapporo, Japan.
