  1. I am so over the princess and the frog being jam down my throat every where I look it was a good movie, but it wasn’t great. I can think of several movies that deserve the attention and they refuse to give it all they’re doing is creating a dislike for princess and the frog. It’s gotten to the point now where it’s like I don’t even care About the movie anymore and at first I thought it was cute now I just can’t stand it so good job Disney what about all the other great classic I’ve never gotten anything fox and the hound the rescuers stich and so many more

  2. San Fransokyo isn't even set in California… it's terrible to see the things I loved most about dca torn down for such a random land. It would be like tearing up Main Street

  3. Goes to show how out of touch modern Disney is to Walt Disney. I hope the Epcot Walt statue reads, "This is not what I had planned".

  4. Totally agree with you Tom. I finally thought that DCA was finally heading in the right direction after it’s 2012 re-theming. I haven’t like it’s mismatched theming since than with the addition of avengers campus and Pixar pier.

  5. I could not agree with him more on Incredacoaster being one of the worst attractions at Disney, which is saying a lot considering Dinoland USA…

  6. 11:58 "If you're going to infuse IP into a park it needs to be done in a thoughtful way, it needs to be done in an immersive way, and it needs to not be done in a cheap or haphazard way." 💯💯

  7. San Fransokyo is such a sad excuse of a retheme. Disney's recent idea of "fixing" something is slapping characters on it, and calling it a day. Look at Pixar Pier. Such a hodgepodge of different ideas.

  8. Even though San Fransokyo is a cheap overlay the fact that we are getting a Baymax meet and greet in California is a big deal. Most Californians haven’t had that experience since it was never available here. If we can get some Japanese shopping in the area akin to the shops in Epcot that would be nice as well.

  9. I think that DVC Disneyland Hotel are a little too different than the retro theme of the overall hotel. I always choose Disneyland hotel for the retro Disneyland theming, if the DVC tower was retro theme they would have had me roped into becoming a member.

  10. You’re making a big deal out of an glorified FOOD COURT. That’s all it is.

  11. This won't last. Here an idea Disneyland, fix the Tomorrowland mess Paul preser did in the 90s

  12. First off, your title says San Fransokyo Wharf instead of “Square”.

I’m not sure why everyone has such cynical views of a re-skin that probably isn’t going to affect anything except that it’s a specific IP. Would we lose anything by putting the re-theme? No. Will we end up getting a couple extra things? Yes. So I don’t see the problem here. 🤷🏽

Also, as much as WDWNT does a great job with WDW stuff. Please get the Disneyland news from a YouTuber who is actually based out of California and goes to those parks regularly. There are plenty of them (e.g. FreshBaked, The Disneyland Beat, Magic Journeys, Hey Brickey, etc.). It’ll be firsthand news instead of hearsay. (And a lot less rambling.)

  13. Oh, that’s interesting: from the concept art it looks like they put the biggest villas of new dvc tower nearest to the former Bonita tower (now Frontierland tower). I wonder why?It looks to be cheek by jowl. I know they don’t have much room in that corner. Perhaps shading the dvc suites using adjoining tower height? Other side (walnut ave?) will have full on western exposure. Btw, I miss the koi pond and waterfalls ;(.

  14. Tom basically everything u said about Paradise Pier being rethemed to Pixar Pier is the absolute true history of Disney California Adventure taking all of the iconic fan favorite rides and just updating every land giving it cheap six flags IP reskins just so Disney can make a cheap buck! Disney really doesn’t care about it’s cast members or its guests anymore and I feel like it’s ridiculous to have hope for them and from all of their underwhelming future projects mentioned or not mentioned at the last D23 Expo how can someone tell me I’m wrong! People tell me it’s bc Disney’s running out of ideas and that’s not true at all they’re just running out of cheap ideas they need to stop thinking how they can tax us as hard as Governor Gavin Newsom does and start thinking how can we improve immersion, innovation, guest experience, and the cast member work environment, that’s where Disney really needs to start in order to earn back their guest’s trust!

  15. I only go to CDA for cars land, soaring and little mermaid. 1/2a day there is enough for me. I always like to try their food but really I don’t get excited to head over there. Disneyland is our fav
