I am japanese american but barely speak it! They would all say nihongo wakarimasen, baka mitai!
Imagine doing a proper tour vlog around the Japanese convenience store, especially 7-Eleven since I heard they have it better than western ones
Google translate or handheld translation devices help A LOT 🙂

Man my Japanese is still trash tho… I feel for him
💜
I would really love to go to Japan but the language barrier would be so difficult!
At the very least you'll have to know basic Japanese in order to do well here. If you don't know any Japanese, it's going to be an extremely difficult place to live.
When in Rome do as the Romans.. but like, the Japanese version lol
The struggle is real yo… lol Interesting and fun video as always 😄
Woman woman try to make Dinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnner womannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn chop chop Now Woman
I am happy they try to communcate with you that good and it seem you just need how to talk to Japanese to survive to live
Thank you
In Japanese schools, teachers rarely teach pronunciation
I had studied English for 8 years in junior high school, high school, and university general education, but never once learned linking or reduction
That is why Japanese people can read English but cannot listen to it
I’m planning on going to japan this summer, what level of Japanese would you say is efficient enough to be able to hold basic conversation?
Love this video, thank you!⛩️🎍🏮🎐
You have a beautiful voice. Yours is among the very few voice overs on YouTube that do not annoy me.
Ela realmente citou Paulo Coelho????
I'm sorry, but the message is in Google Translate, so it may not be understood.
Hello, I'm Japanese. This video was very interesting.
Suddenly, I would like to know what black people think of Japanese manga.
Black people rarely appear in Japanese Shonen manga (like One Piece).
Shonen manga is a product sold mainly to Japanese adolescent boys.
I'm very sorry, but Japanese men don't often have romantic feelings for black women.
So, in shonen manga, there are many Japanese-like characters that adolescent boys like and white-like characters, but black women rarely appear.
What are your thoughts on this fact?
Also, Japanese characters with tans and Japanese bodybuilder characters in Japanese comics seem to be perceived as discriminatory blacks overseas. (like Blackluster from one punch man)
I think this is because when Japanese people look at Japanese people, the range of judging black or white skin is narrower than that of foreigners.
I would appreciate it if you could give me your opinion on this matter as well.
Finally, I am very grateful to be able to watch your video like this.
I look forward to seeing more interesting videos like this.
I wish I knew all my Japanese from high school. All I know is greetings. Numbers. Days of the week. And the kanji’s. Whew. I know densentsu that’s it. Lol.
I don’t understand why people wouldn’t use Google Translate atleast..
I have a request for you my Afican Japanese Friend (^w^) Please do [The Last of Us] Recation video here a link for the trailer (^w^) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uLtkt8BonwM
Will google translate app be enough for simple stuff like ask for menu or directions ?
I noticed older people speak better English
4:25 Okay real talk, while watching this i just thought, why doesn’t the world teach like a universal sign language so we all can speak with each other that way? I mean, imagine if they had that and every country started from now on to teach that in elementary school all through high school or however long it would take, but start early like that, all around the world. So that we all could speak without saying a word. Like the woman said “without using words.”
PS: Is sign language already what im talking about? If sign language is universal, which i dont think it is. But if it was, then like i said, Governments need to start mandatory teaching it so we can all communicate like i also said.
PSS: But if theres already a genius level translator app that can solve the language barrier problem, then never mind. And what app is the best? Maybe make a video like this one, but ONLY using whatever is the best in the World translator app to do all the communication and see how well it goes or not so well it goes. Because the language barrier is still the only thing holding me back from going to Japan. I just know with my bad luck that all the worst case scenarios would play out for me and i would regret ever paying money to feel bad essentially. ✌️
"Do you have anything vegetarian?"
"Seafood."😂😂😂
I like the awkward situations, too! You see the humanity both of yourself and others, and just how easy it actually really is to communicate with people through smiles, laughs, and lots of gestures. I like that communication can cross borders, and it doesn’t just have to be through language.
When I lived in Japan in 2013, it was fairly easy to get around with just basic conversational Japanese and learning hiragana and katakana (in terms of ordering food and buying items) I think it’s important to try to learn as much as possible to navigate based on your lifestyle. Thanks for this vid!
Who's Enim?🤨
This is random, but in your video of you wearing a Yukata, you said that an older Japanese man came to you and told you that black women have big a$$e$. What was your response to him?
this really makes me wanna go japan 💜
Ok so I know a handful of words in Japanese and I learned those mostly from anime lol.. I actually have books and will start studying how to order food because I love to eat. Arigato Gozaimasu!
What is the brand of the shoulder camera you use? ❤
