While in Sapporo Hokkaido, you have to have ramen, like you needed an excuse! Some of the best ramen is found in Sapporo and the miso ramen is not to be missed. Luckily there is a place where you can fill your empty belly with goodness, Ramen Alley. Yes, it is literally an alley with only ramen shops, and there is more than one here. We chose the original because it was close to our hotel and it was freezing outside. So after we finished our work for the morning we headed out hungry to see how many back-to-back ramens we could handle. In theory, it’s a great idea, very delicious and convenient, but after four separate bowls plus we were in a world of ramen hurt. If you try this you will see what we mean. Craig even forgot how to count. We had some favorites and some not so favorites but all in all, a great way to kill a couple hours in Sapporo while ingesting valuable calories to keep warm in the Hokkaido winter. Ganbatte! P.S. Hokkaido we love you.
