Lake Kawaguchi Winter Fireworks 2023 “Fujisan no Hi” Winter Fireworks Brighten the Night Sky

Kawaguchiko Winter Fireworks is one of Japan’s premier winter fireworks displays, held 11 times on Saturdays and Sundays from January 21, 2023 to February 19 and again on February 23 (Fuji Day, Emperor’s Birthday).

The event will take place at a special site located on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, and will be launched in freezing temperatures for 20 minutes from 8:00 p.m., sparkling the pitch black sky.

This fireworks display is popular not only with visitors from within Japan but also from overseas. The contrast between the beautiful nature of Mt. Fuji and the fireworks is overwhelming, so beautiful that you can forget the cold of winter.

Kawaguchiko Winter Fireworks are familiar to many people and can be enjoyed with family and friends as one of the features of winter in Japan. Be sure to experience the beautiful fireworks show that lights up the winter night sky on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi.
