Traveling as a black African in Northern Africa, Morocco. This is how it all went down. If you ever thought about how it is to travel here, like if there’s discrimination, racism or anything then here is your answer. Nice and simple.

  1. I love this one especially with the narration. I struggled alo with your accent- so please put subtitles in the next video. Otherwise this is a 6/10

  2. – you are wrong brother, Moroccans are prtty used to cameras but it's nice to ask people first before filming them, they will mostly accept..
but, anywhere else, you free to film as you wish. Filming is permitted
    – Drones ARE NOT PROHIBITED in. Moroco, too many youtubers bring them and use them
BUT, like any other country, to fly a drone you need a permit from authorities
and YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to fly your drone near sensitive places , like military bases,
Administrations, authorities buildings, around airports etc…
This are the same rules everywhere you go..
I live in a European country and drone usage here is WAY MORE difficult and very strictly regulated than it is in Morocco.. For example, in Spain you cannot fly a drone at the beach, in Morocco you can do that without even a permit.

    – Scammers are in every touristy city on earth, but in Morocco, they're fewer than many other countries,
and if one them approaches you, just ask him politely to leave you on your own and that you do not need him.. if he insists, just go and ask him to go away, and he'll vanish into the crowds.

    – You are WRONG again : Not every person you film will ask for money.
You are putting this like it was a common rule and that is not the case.

    – If you ever loose your passeport in Morocco, NEVER FREAK OUT.
Taxis have an office at the central taxi station, and there is always a small police station there
anything found in taxis, the taxi driver will leave it there, and the police
wil check your identity, find out your hotel, and withing a few hours you'll get your passeport back.
If you want to make process faster, just go to the nearest police station
they will ask you few questions, and you won't believe how fast they will get your passeport back.

I a Moroccan, 2 years ago i was in a taxi in Rabat and i had a USB drive with me
it was very important for my job and had some important files that i needed for a meeting.
i strangely dropped the USB drive inside the taxi..
i went to central taxi station
they asked me about pick up and drop off location and approximate time, my phone number etc..
about 2 hours later, i get a call asking me to come get my USB drive
the driver who found it left it the office at central station..
few weeks ago, a taxi driver found a bag with 320000 Moroccan dirham (=32.000 Euros)
and the driver did not know who left the bag in his taxi.
but he still managed to find the owner and gave him his money bag back.

    – Best will always be to leave your original documents at the hotel safe
and have color copies with you , even though almost NOBODY will ever ask you about your documents in Morocco.

    – Why would anybody ever consider you as a walking ATM ??!
You're WRONG again, not who ever gives a helping hand will ask for money..
even if you run out of money, you could ask any Moroccan and he'll take you to his house, you'll get free sleeping bed and food because that is Moroccan hospitality bro.
Millions of tourists visit Morocco and Moroccan are very used to welcome tourists.

    – Passeport checks ARE A VERY NORMAL thing, and the Moroccan police are very very friendly folks.
It has NOTHING to do with your skin color bro, but rather with your African passeport :
    — if you had a European passeport, it means you had gone through identity check in Europe
    But,
If you have an African passeport, YOU MIGHT undergo an identity check
    WHY?
Because more than 90% of identity theft and identity usurpation and FAKE passeports
are African passeport, so they need to make sure you are the real owner of the passeport.

Did you know that so many African who have European Visa or residency, RENT their travel documents
to other Africans who look like them to enter Europe from Morocco ?!!
    Why Morocco ?
An African guy for instance who has a long term visa or residency, in European country
goes to Morocco where he meets another African guy who looks like him
rents him his passeport for around 3000 to 5000 Euros
the other guy uses the passeport to Enter Europe
    then mails back the passeport
BUT, when he gets his passeport
he cannot use it to enter Europe by plain because the system will show that he had left Morocco
but, he goes to Ceuta city at the north of Morocco
Ceuta city is Moroccan city occupied by Spain it is near Tangier
when the guy gets his passeport or residency back,
he can enter Ceuta very easily and walks 100 meters away and he is in Spain !!
Then takes a ferry to mainland Spain (45 mn travel to Tarifa/Spain).
but if any guy gets caught doing this, he faces 5 years in jail.

So, it's not your fault if you undergo a security check
it's our fellow Africans fault that forge fake passeport, usurpate identity of others
    use fake documents etc..

And, to be honest, in every single airport on earth security checks are very normal
my brother has an American passeport, looks like an American
yet, he still went a check at german airport and that is very normal.

Please, do not try to justify whatever happens with your color skin
you brought that up throughout the video,
there is ZERO discrimination against black people in Morocco.
Morocco welcomes people from all over the world.
and black man in Moroccan dialect is "Azzi" (fem= Azzia),
which is a contraction of the word "Azizi" which means "beloved", "cherished"..
