  1. With the Tiktok hack, I wouldn't care, but the kid would have been ABLE to ride Soarin' Around the World because like Patrick Warburton says in the video, "IF the flyer doesn't meet the height standard, put the buckle through the loop and then secure the seatbelt!". However, IF he went on rides like Space Mountain etc, he'd get thrown out easily!

  2. My son didn’t measure oup for a ride but then went back and changed his posture. I think , like your tissues, that’s a totally different thing. That have to believe they build in a few centimeter margins of error for things like this. N this seems extreme

  3. I think it is really funny to listen to the justification of how much heightening is too much to get your kid on a ride. Give me a break.

  4. It’s called “child endangerment” people. Not to mention “ruining it for everyone else”. The sense of entitlement that comes to some people after spitting out yet another micro-human never ceases to amaze me.

  5. I agree with Tom’s point don’t endanger your child’s safety for a ride because if something happened to your kid It’s you fault but a few napkins for a few centimeters is more reasonable because my parents did it to get me on iron dragon at cedar point as nd this was when the height requirement for that ride was 46 inches

  6. I think that these people should be called out by a child services I mean the TikTok is linked to to them. You should be able to track down the family can likely see the kids parents face. I’m not going to watch the TikTok to give the view

  7. I have this vivid memory of my family going to the height chart at Space Mountain in 1992 and my brother being less than a finger length away from being tall enough to ride and as we were measuring him and gentleman walked by and told my parents that he just always stuffed tissue paper into his kids shoes from the gift shops to make them tall enough and my Mom being aghast that he would be so cavalier about his kids safety. My brother on the other hand has this great memory of that first trip to Disney that he got to ride the speedway ride 3 times with my Mom (and he got to drive)while he waited for my Dad and I to get done with Space.

  8. The parents of that child….🙄🙄 The safety rules are there for a reason. If that child had gotten hurt or even died…I will never understand why people don't want to follow safety precautions.

  9. Then they would have wanted to sue had something happened to their brat

  10. The Kelly Fam should not get their kid back. They need serious psychiatric evaluation as to why they don't like their son. They need to watch hours and hours of videos of kids snuck onto rides and injured or worse and see if it's worth waiting an extra year or two. This is not 'poor judgement'. He'd be safer if they left him locked in the house with a bottle of tequila and box of Oreos for meals while they took their holiday. I also think, though that theme parks should measure someone from a seated position (or, however you ride it, I don't think there are standing rides in Disney parks.) rather than standing. Stacked shoes = instant escort out of the park and a lifetime ban if I had it my way. Horrible parenting.

  11. And if their kid fell out of the ride and was injured or killed, they'd be right there filing the multi-million dollar lawsuit.

  12. I used to think that putting platforms so my child could pass the height requirement was a good idea, but…….seeing how complicated the rides are I would not mess with that kind of technology!!!!

  13. These people need to be banned for life. Sorry kids, your parents totally screwed up and this was your one and only trip to a Disney Park.

  14. My younger brother, who is now a grown man, was a small five-year-old and wanted to go on a ride at a carnival. It was one where you sit in an open seat and it whips everyone back and forth. A teenager heard my brother and offered to sit with my brother during this ride. My Father let my little brother on the ride and wouldn't you know, the kid couldn't hold onto him and my brother flew out of the car and through the fencing around the ride. It's amazing he wasn't killed or very seriously injured, however, this did result in stitches on his arm, his arm in a sling because he pulled muscles in his shoulder, and an irate Mother that wanted to absolutely kill my Dad!!! She didn't talk to him for weeks. These parents are as irresponsible as my father was and obviously care more that they are not hassled during their Disney visit rather than being adult, responsible parents that care for their child. And to literally advertise their abject stupidity on TikTok is equally disgusting. Shame…

  15. The boy who died on the drop tower last year off I-Drive died because the ride operator adjusted the seat to accommodate for his size. When he did that, the boy slipped out of the harness and fell from the drop tower and died. These safety precautions are in place for a reason. If they do not meet the requirements put in place for the safety of the guest in order to ride, then they cannot ride.

  16. The tik tok challenges are definitely out of control! It's pretty sad when adults are the ones initiating the stupidity!

  17. First off what kind of lesson is this teaching their kids? That you can get whatever you want, when you want it, as long as you cheat?
Also; I’ve got four kids. There have been plenty of times that they’ve been barely tall enough to ride that I’ve made the executive decision and said “No”. Either I felt that they were not ready maturity wise and would freak out, or that I KNEW they would be sliding around in the seat. Further, I’ve also had to have my arm around/ hold down a couple of my kids b/c they WERE to small for the seat or the ride restraint system, and it made me nervous even when they MET the height requirement. Shame on these parents. This could be categorized at child endangerment. And they’re bragging about it. The level of audacity is just beyond my comprehension.

  18. Tom create a running “Wall’-O’-Idiots” spot on the show and spotlight the hilarious buffoonery!! If they want attention, well why not give it to them..🎉
Then maybe at the end of December your audience can vote on the biggest moron of the year!

  19. I was also a child of an extra pair of socks for splash mountain! But I’m also pretty sure they decreased the height requirement since then! I was tall for my age, and barely made it at 4.
My daughter who is average height had no problem going on at three! But yes, it was a different time. We tried to make sure we had the highest shoes we could to make roving roller coaster, (sneakers vs sandals) and that was enough to make a difference for her during this past trip. But the platform shoes are too much!

  20. They should ban this family with the different shoes for a year and continue increasing if it gets worse.

  21. Gee Tom, really enjoy the show, but you should have stopped before your comment about your dad and the tissue paper…. I'm sure certain folks will say…. "but….see, Tom did it.. has to be ok."

  22. Drunk idiots are the worst part about Epcot. Your shirts aren’t funny. The park is not for teenagers trying to get drunk. If you wear matching shirts all cast members make fun of you. If you run the races no one cares…take you cow bells off and go away. Epcot in its stupid current form is still supposed to be educational.

  23. I guess some parents think a dead kid is worth not missing out on a ride… pretty sick that zero of TWO adults thought this was a reasonable thing to do, scary there’s ppl that dumb among us
