i have only a minute to pop in this quick note to you- happy friday and weekend to everybody.
i came back from japan earlier this week and i am still adjusting back to east coast time! tired! easing back into things.
this weekend, i’m very excited to see my boardgame group of friends and get hotpot dinner with them, too. i am also hoping to take advantage of the sunny chilly day on sunday (originally forecasted to rain) to take a long walk in brooklyn, visit a bookstore and maybe prospect park. if you have any plans- lmk in the comments 😀

The way you explored the city with Reese and her hospitality was heartwarming. The Shibuya District was so beautiful in the morning, and I loved how you enjoyed browsing the mall and found some tasty snacks. The hair salon experience seemed interesting, even with the little scab. The night views of Tokyo were stunning, and the curry dinner looked delicious. Loved seeing a more calm and relaxed approach to traveling rather than being so go go go as a tourist
I've been to Tokyo. Not too amazed by the bldgs and aesthetics as I thought I would. But I was super impressed by the kindness of the people and the air quality was so nice too. I agree that walking at night was soo perfect. I went in the last week of Spring time and felt the weather couldn't be better. I also felt like I was really in another world. For some reason the sky looked different. I would love to go back and live in Japan.
