On our 11th day in Japan, we visited the vibrant Kumamoto City. Come join us while we visit:
– the fully restored Kumamoto Castle and learnt about the restoration process of the other structures within the castle grounds
– Kato Shrine, a shrine where one prays at to overcome life difficulties
– Sakuranobaba Josaien Castle Town, an Edo-themed shopping arcade
– Suizenji Jojuen Garden a tranquil garden offering breathtaking landscapes
We also ate several Kumamoto specialties:
