That was a great shot of you and your family with the New York skyline in the background that would definitely be a fun place to sail out of but unfortunately living here in San Diego we have decided to take all of our cruises for the time being out of the West Coast no flying for us. So New York and east coast sailings are out of the question
Thank you for all the great info on Celebrity Summit!! On my first cruise to Alaska with my son on the Solstice in 2018, the moment we got champagne I felt like we were Now on vacation. So I will miss that glass of champagne on embarkation day if they aren't doing that any more. But I am still excited about my first cruise this September since 2019!

Thanks for another interesting video. We have just returned from our first ever celebrity Cruise, ( to Alaska) and found the Embarkation process rather tortuous and chaotic. Like you, we were rather disappointed with the lack of fizz on boarding and it felt like we were just left to our own devices as soon as we were on board, with no crew around to guide us. They only became visible when we sat down for a drink ( we needed one after the embarkation) when there was a really hard sell for the speciality dining packages.
We coped with the basic wifi, which was actually a lot better/faster on the upper decks!, but this did become a problem when we needed to complete Arrivecan info prior to disembarkation, and there was no provision for this in the i lounge. Overall though we enjoyed ourselves and have booked for future cruises whilst on board as it is such a good deal.
Hi. We are going on the Summit in a couple weeks. Do you remember how many formal nights and which nights they were? Also is bottled water available? I was looking to buy ahead of time like Carnival and don't see it as an option. thank you
You mentioned a Bermuda Travel Certificate, what is this? Where do you get one? I've been to Bermuda before, with Royal, It was not needed, that I'm aware of. i got right off the boat and went where ever I wanted. is this something new?

I recently did the 10 Bayonne NewPort. Bermuda Charleston and DID NOT sail around the Statue of Liberty… Had the Family veranda (7402_ above and to the starboard side).. Premium wifi sucked too…. check out my cruise video. …..

How much was the wifi upgrade on the ship? Just wondering if it’s cheaper then calling it in.
I love taking pictures and I love keeping my family involved via Facebook so premium Wi-Fi would be very important to me. I’m very curious as to the price however, and you didn’t mention how much an upgrade cost.
Congratulation on you guarantee stateroom upgrade. I've never taken this option as we sail with friends and prefer to be next door to them. You should add, and I'm sure I'm correct in this, is that the aft facing staterooms cost more just for the fact they do face aft. You were very lucky you chose this because in the long run you saved a lot of money over selection the aft cabin in the firstplace. Good for you.
