I traded the X100V for the X-Pro 3 over a month ago. I am excited and relieved to say, I do not regret it. I am happy to have two card slots, scratch resistance, heavier weather sealing and interchangeable lens capabilities.

  1. Nice images!

Regarding the ISO dial, I'm a control freak with 50-plus years of shooting, but I've arrived at accepting the value of Auto-ISO on my Fujis. I haven't had to touch my ISO dial in years.

Fujifilm allows you to set up 3 Auto-ISO settings so you can have one for general, long lenses, action stopping, whatever. You pick the highest ISO that you'll tolerate. You pick the longest shutter speed threshold that you can hand hold. You still control these things, but then you just get on with shooting, knowing that you can just concentrate on the subject.

Try it out. I'll never go back.

  2. niceee as always.. what i have to ask: you know i have the x pro 3 too, but the normal black one. How the Dura Black feels in Hand and how is it with the finger prints? Never tried one out, just bought the black one and now i regret, not to get the dura silver or dura black one 😄😒

  3. Very nice photos! What lenses are your favorites to use with the XPro3?

  4. Looks like a great trip. Interested to hear how you went with the 27mm. Finishing a trip now with my xpro2, 27 and 14 in the bag. No major complaints optically just struggled with a slightly unusual focal length!!!

  5. Are these Jpegs with film emulation. If yes which do you like the most.
