We went to our first Japanese Onsen (hot spring) Town! It’s one of the oldest in Japan at over one thousand years old! We were lucky enough to find a tattoo-friendly onsen. Onsen here have two types of water: Gold and Silver. We bathed in the iron-rich Gold Water.
It was such a beautiful town to explore! We also enjoyed a traditional Japnese meal of Okonomiyaki, and headed back to Kobe’s city center to explore their China Town (Nankinmachi)! Kobe has a large population of Chinese immigrants which lead to an amazing China Town! It’s the 2nd largest one in Japan! We got to eat some local, handmade soup dumplings (in an incredibly embarrassing manner)!
For our last day in Kobe, we explored the Harbour area and tried Kobe Beef for the first time (but you’ll have to wait for that video to see it). (^_^)
