We cannot believe it is our LAST DAY here in Kyoto, Japan! We hit the ground running to bring you the Ultimate Travel Guide of how to spend a perfect day in Kyoto! First things first, we took a local train out to Arashiyama using our Pasmo Cards, and made the trek to the top of Monkey Mountain! We were greeted by hundreds of beautiful Macaque monkeys! They were the most entertaining animals we’ve ever seen. We spent a couple hours walking the trails and feeding the monkeys. Afterwards we stroll through Arashiyama, grabbing a couple snacks along the way, as we headed for the Bamboo Forest. This forest was dense with the tallest and thickest bamboo we had ever seen. We next made a stop at Happy Pancake to try Japan’s famous soufflé, fluffy pancakes! Further east is the beautiful town of Higashiyama where we strolled the historic streets. Our time in Japan would not be complete without finding the perfect souvenir, so we found an amazing chopstick vendor that engraved our names onto our own sets of chopsticks! While we waited we headed into Nishiki Market and tried the popular crab on a stick…fantastic. We will not only miss Kyoto, but Japan as we move on in our next video!

I love the pancakes 🥞 I have had them in London they have the first Japanese pancake shop, and they are so yummy 😋. I'm not allowed them anymore because of high cholesterol. I'm so glad you had fun at Monkey Island. There is a place I can't remember the name but the monkey lay in the onsen rivers there. My guess is Panama 💖💙🎎🎏XXXX
