Welcome to BARROW, ALASKA – the Northernmost town in America!!! It’s pretty wild to be up here, especially in the middle of winter when it’s completely dark outside for 30 straight days. I came up here to Barrow to learn about the indigenous Iñupiat culture (which is fascinating!) as well as see how they are spending their lives in such extreme isolation – among polar bears and walruses!

If you have any questions about life in Barrow or Alaska in general, please let me know in the comments down below! Also, if you want to visit Barrow, then contact Ace’s tour company called “Arctic Hummer Adventures” by emailing him at arctichummeradventures@gmail.com, and he’ll take care of you!

  3. I absolutely love whales and I couldn’t imagine killing 1 but I totally understand why they do. It’s their food and I love that the whales live a normal happy life before they get hunted❤ the way our pigs and chickens and shit are treated is absolutely anything but humane. It’s disgusting 🤮

  4. Love your videos showing places I'll probably never visit, but I get to see it through your eyes. Also, your intro thumbnails are looking SHARP these days!

  5. You should come to Leadville, CO. It's the tallest incorporated city in North America and it's near you in Arizona in the Rockies! It's a really cool old silver mining town.

  6. I'm from Philippines I've never been in a place with snow that's why I can't imagine how cold in that palace. But I will put it on the list for my future episodes. Great content!

  7. From Florida. I was always in awe of Eskimos. To me they are a strong people that have survived a tough environment. I feel like a wimp compared to them.

  8. Hello from southern Germany. I saw the northern lights this january in Inari, Finnland and would recommend you to go there 🙂

  9. Watching from North East England Drew. A fabulous video in an incredible place. I saw the northern lights in Iceand a few years ago, a sight not to be missed for sure. Happy travelling.

  10. It's so rare that tourist come during winter time because we have more things to do in the summer time. So glad you enjoyed Barrow!! Our home is beautiful

  11. Seen the northern lights in Decemeber with its green and pink colours in Thingvellir, Iceland and danced for hours between 1030-1am. Seen also in the capital of Reykjavik just strolling casually after dinner at 9pm, was surprised to see it with the city lights too.

  12. I saw the northern lights when visiting my brother in Winnipeg this summer I definitely was not expecting to see them there especially from his back yard 🤣

  13. Im indigenous from Edmonton, Alberta Canada The northern most metropolis is North America 😆

  14. Barrow is definitely not a typical vacation place. Although we do have museums, sites to see, and some restaurants like shown. Thank you for coming up and showing our home! So good to see people from barrow in a YouTube video! Definitely come back in summer

  15. The funniest…the guy next to you on the airplane. Both his and your reactions were priceless 🤣. Thank you! From Indiana✌🏻

  16. I love this video! Amazing as always! I lived in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada for a year and this video brought back a lot of memories! My family always wondered what it was like for me to live there and it was great to relive my memories with them and explain many facets of life up north! I also saw a lot of northern lights while up there! The weather is often bad but when the auroras show, the put on a show!

    Edit: Spelling

  17. I'm watching from Sydney, Australia, but am from Northern Ontario, Canada (Sudbury, to be exact). We don't see the Northern Lights often, but we do see them sometimes – if the night is cold and clear, we'll see them. My mom has photgraphed them in Iceland and in the Northwest Territories in Canada as well. We just came back from visiting the North and there is something very familiar between living in Barrow and living in Northern Ontario – the level of trust, the respect for the environment and the kindness of the people around you. Cold means support and survival, thank you for showing this way of life to everyone 🙂

  18. Watching from Philippines haha coconut there is not cheap when here i can just give it for free to my neighbors 😂 also wow people there are very cool 😎. Love their sense of humor, ace dad's the best ♥️
