Nagano prefecture is famous for its snow monkeys at the world famous Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park! If you’re headed to Japan it’s worth taking a day trip to see them, either from Tokyo or Nagano.

We visited the Enzoji temple, a beautiful temple that’s located in Nagano. After that we went Sake tasting and then had a beautiful drive to the snow monkeys! They were already playing and having a lot of fun. It was so cute to watch!

In addition to the snow monkeys, the sake tasting at a nearby brewery was great. Sake is a Japanese alcohol, and it was great to try some different types!
