Visit a 1200-year-old keyaki tree (Japanese zelkova elm tree) at a gorgeous Shrine site in Takamori Niigata, Japan. It’s a really snowy day. The snow is untouched as I trudge up the steps and around the shrine yard. The bamboo thicket and palm trees are sagging from the heavy snow. It’s a wonderful winter scene.
