We’re Thomas and Sheena, food and travel fiends. We travel full time, hunting for the BEST local food in the world to showcase via our YouTube videos. Food is a window into a country’s culture and one of the most exciting ways to get to know a place.
We’re all about eating what and where the locals eat. You won’t find food that’s been created merely to be social media worthy on here- no rainbow bagels, gold leaf soft serves- just honest food that tastes incredible.
From street food to mom and pop restaurants, we want to show you the best food we find on our travels.

I missed the earlier announcement. Congratulations
You're living my best Tokyo life in this video for sure! A perfect street food crawl. My mouth is watering! I'll take a double order of all of the above, please. My Japanese friend, Hiroko, once told me that the smell of bonito for Japanese is analogous to how Americans react when they smell hamburgers. 🤣🙌😘
Loving your videos from Japan. Food looks fabulous and love your positivity
Hi Thomas and Sheena I see lesta love seeing your videos pop up on my notifications. Loving the tempura veggies and the skewered meats 😍 great video as always

Wonderful video. I lived in Japan as a little girl. Don't remember much but I do like the food. Congratulations on your expectated little one.
More hidden gems with great food! Being away from the touristy areas gives such a different impression. Thank you for that! The izakaya looked cozy and fun, and the dishes you ordered made my mouth water. So glad you got to go back to Japan.
My family will be in Tokyo next week, all those food looks delicious. This will be our 3rd time in Japan. Its too bad some of these places don't have an English menu.
Off there in August with the wife and kids can't wait my 3rd time there and the kids first time. Watching this just makes me want to hurry through the year. Love the vids you guys are so easy to watch thanks.
What a treat it is to sit down on a Sunday evening and have you two lovely people bring me a selection of Japanese street food. Loved the Octopus, Meat cutlet and the last restaurant with the skewered chicken that Thomas had. I'm sure that sort of pub could work here in New Zealand. Oh and the tempura place. I love broccoli and cauliflower tempura in particular. I am so loving this Japanese food tour and thanks so much for sharing .
What she's got a turkey in the oven that's awesome news
Welcome to Japan, Tokyo 🙂 I’m impressed that you guys try to read, write, speak Japanese. I hope Japanese people were nice & helpful to you in terms of food ordering. Anyways, looks yummy! Especially the yakitori wings!
I am getting excited about the skewers you both had. Looks really yummy and same with the cucumber salad. Must go to Japan as soon as I can just to eat their food!
good stuff!
Yummy…yummy…yummy ❤
Enjoying the series, I head to Tokyo in June. Hope you’re heading to Seoul after this
Nice to see you two traveling & eating again. Ain't this in the Roppongi district? And congratz with 'the bun in the oven..' Greetz from The Netherlands.
